Here you can see our new collection from our factory in Portugal. We have been manufacturing there since
2023 our high-quality premium streetwear basics with our specially developed LYTD® cut. We were there and saw for ourselves the quality of the products, the systems and our partners there.
The result.
The result is our high-quality oversized streetwear hoodies, T-shirts and sweaters. 100% organic cotton and fairly manufactured in Europe. High-quality fashion that can be individually refined together with us as part of our projects. Our own products were a very big step for us, as we now have the quality and design in our own hands and at the same time have more control over the sustainability of the products.

We visited our partners on site and were able to build a network of partnerships from which our products also benefit.
We spent months developing our cuts and designs to create the perfect hoodie and t-shirts. High-quality, thick fabrics, oversized drop-shoulder fit and more.
In the modern and new factory in Portugal, our premium products have been manufactured sustainably within the EU since 2023.

Our product range
Our range includes a wide range of the most popular standard products such as hoodies, T-shirts & more. All of our products are made from 100% organic cotton.
Our product catalog also includes our new collection from our factory in Portugal. We have been producing our high-quality premium streetwear basics there with our specially developed LYTD® cut since 2023.
Finishing in Germany.
Since our founding, we have been refining all of our products in Germany here in the Allgäu. We draw on over 20 years of expertise and a variety of different finishing techniques, such as digital printing, DTF transfer or screen printing for large runs. We always know which method is best suited for which motif and which order and advise our customers on the optimal solution.
In order to provide our customers with the widest possible range of sustainable products with different cuts, colors and styles, we currently do not produce all of the items ourselves, but also source a large proportion of them from suppliers and partners.
Production in Asia
Within the LYTD® Fashion range, the majority of products are manufactured in our state-of-the-art factory in rural Bangladesh.
The EP range is entirely manufactured in India.
Supplier selection
Important to understand:
In these cases , in contrast to our own production in Portugal, we are not a manufacturer but a service provider or a so-called "quasi-manufacturer" who sources the textiles from suppliers, refines them and delivers them to our customers with their design. We therefore do not need our own certificates and regularly check those of our suppliers to ensure they are up-to-date and correct in order to guarantee our customers the best possible quality and trust. To achieve this, we work closely with the certification companies.
For our own production in Portugal, we are the manufacturer and are in turn responsible for ourselves.

How do we select suppliers?
However, since the textile industry is (fortunately) in transition, new certificates and new manufacturers are constantly coming onto the market. This means that we are always on the lookout for new, even better providers and, for example, we now produce a large part of our premium products ourselves.
However, since our approach is also based on offering our sustainable projects to as many students and companies as possible in order to create the greatest possible leverage, 3 important factors play a role for us when selecting sustainable suppliers:
Our certifications
Our products are certified with the most important standards of the fashion industry: from recycled & fairly traded to organic cotton to 90% CO² reduced production. All of the products we offer are 100% sustainable. No compromise. You will always find a transparent overview of which certifications apply to the respective product on the respective product page.
Trees for the Future
For every LYTD product sold, we plant a new tree in Africa together with our partner TFTF. Trees for the Future is a nonprofit organization that trains farmers around the world in agroforestry and sustainable land use.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
A standard used worldwide for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers and therefore an important textile seal. It defines environmental requirements along the entire production chain as well as social criteria.
Made in Portugal
All of our LYTD Premium Streetwear Bascis are produced in our state-of-the-art factory in Portugal with our specially developed streetwear cuts. Of course, with every product you will always find information about the origin of the goods as usual.
Organic Content Standard blended
Our main supplier has been a member of the largest organic cotton organization since 2007. The Organic Content Standard blended enables companies to record the exact proportion of organic materials in a product and track it through the production chain
Fair trade cotton
Fair trade in cotton is intended to help break the cycle of exploitation . Stable minimum prices and additional Fairtrade premium. For our Fairtrade certified products, you can always find the label directly on the respective product page. This way you always know exactly what is going on.
Carbon Trust
90% CO² reduced production through the use of renewable energies: Our main supplier was the first B2B company to take part in the initiative . It's an early example of how a company can expand the initial pilot even to partners across the supply chain.
