We stand for sustainable and fair textile production in Asia and Europe, as well as finishing in Germany here in the Allgäu. We maintain close partnerships with our suppliers and producers and constantly pay attention to certifications and working conditions.
We have designed our logistics processes so that the goods always take the shortest route and use the most efficient transport method. We are also constantly moving our textile production further and further towards Europe in order to optimize transport routes there too.
Our office in Memmingen is powered by 100% eco-electricity and we work almost paperless and digitally. The few letters we send are sent with our local partner GreenMail .
We support the sustainable projects of Trees for the Future, as well as other regional initiatives and research together with Neu-Ulm University.

The understanding of sustainability at LYTD is divided into the areas of production, transport, people and impact. We focus on the materials of the products, the working conditions, the transport of the goods and our influence on other supporting projects.

Trees for the Future
For every LYTD product sold, we plant a new tree in Africa together with our partner TFTF. Trees for the Future is a nonprofit organization that trains farmers around the world in agroforestry and sustainable land use.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
A standard used worldwide for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers and therefore an important textile seal. It defines environmental requirements along the entire production chain as well as social criteria.
Made in Portugal
All of our LYTD Premium Streetwear Bascis are produced in our state-of-the-art factory in Portugal with our specially developed streetwear cuts. Of course, with every product you will always find information about the origin of the goods as usual.
Organic Content Standard blended
Our main supplier has been a member of the largest organic cotton organization since 2007. The Organic Content Standard blended enables companies to record the exact proportion of organic materials in a product and track it through the production chain
Fair trade cotton
Fair trade in cotton is intended to help break the cycle of exploitation . Stable minimum prices and additional Fairtrade premium. For our Fairtrade certified products, you can always find the label directly on the respective product page. This way you always know exactly what is going on.
Carbon Trust
90% CO² reduced production through the use of renewable energies: Our main supplier was the first B2B company to take part in the initiative . It's an early example of how a company can expand the initial pilot even to partners across the supply chain.
